Rita Potter
With Open Door since 1990
Rita is an avid reader and voracious learner who constantly strives for innovative ways to improve her life and the lives of others. Open Door has not only given Rita the freedom to do so, but has encouraged her to utilize these passions to help create an agency that she is honored to be a part of. The motto "change is good" has always been Rita's rallying cry, and over time has become the Open Door way.

Kayla is a forever student. She loves to keep her mind working by learning something new every day. Whether that be with a new book, a daily podcast, or simply chatting with friends, she strives to become the best version of herself. Kayla also loves to spend time with her family and friends and likes to stay busy. Kayla is thrilled to be a part of the Open Door family and looks forward to growing her career with us.

Stephanie Rolando

Day Services Manager
Kayla Gomez
With Open Door since 2023
Stephanie began her career in the area of Child Welfare, where she earned a master's degree in clinical counseling with an undergrad in general psychology. She has learned over the years that true change is not only necessary for growth but happens in the most challenging times. Stephanie values teaching her children how to keep “the main thing” the main thing and how to protect their peace at all times, because they are her legacy and her core happiness requires theirs. Stephanie has already learned so much from ODRC and looks forward to continuing to grow with an agency that demonstrates their mission and values in actions, not just words.

Jessica Reyes

Residential Services Manager
Kayla Gomez
With Open Door since 2016
Jessica, “Jess”, started her journey at Open Door as a Bachelor’s level intern where she fell in love with Open Door’s mission and values. After her internship, life continued and she earned her Master’s degree. An opportunity arose to come back to Open Door as a QIDP and she came running. While at Open Door she has grown personally and professionally. The individuals served and the friendships she’s created here are so important to her. Jess loves learning new things, and here at Open Door, she has and continues to learn so much from the people around her. She feels lucky and excited to start a new adventure with us.

Jess enjoys spending time with her family that she loves dearly (fur babies Dixie and Tucker included of course). She loves to spend time outdoors with them, especially on the river, taking pictures of nature and wildlife, hiking, and watching football.

Daniel Wehrli

Residential Services Manager
Kayla Gomez
With Open Door since 2014
Daniel started at Open Door as a DSP and has been loving it ever since.  He moved into a role as an AQ, running medical appointments for clients, then taking on the CQ role, quarterbacking the paperwork side of things.  As ever evolving as Open Door continues to be, Daniel has been evolving within the bigger evolution of Open Door since the beginning of his time here.

Daniel finds passion in trying.  To be a better father/husband/son/brother/friend, to try something new, to try a new dad joke, a new hiking spot, his mind is always open to new ideas. Daniel is always searching for the beauty in every part of life; sifting for those silver linings is fundamental in his life.
